Grading Examination Passes

Requirements.

Children have grading books that must be signed by an instructor at every lesson.  When a predetermined number of classes have been attended and the children can demonstrate proficiency in the class they will be considered for grading.

With their instructors watching (and an audience) students attempt gradings under exam conditions.  Proficiency in the three main areas of karate training (basic movements - kata - partner training) must be demonstrated with injury free technique in order to pass.

Adults gradings follow a similar formula although there are no grading books to be signed each lesson.
